Subsidy reduction to benefit the people?

What's happening? Are prices going to rocket and hit Malaysians where it hurts most - in their pockets! According to the media, the government will be making the announcement anytime now.
RON 95 and 97 may go up 5 sen, LPG 10 sen per kg, sugar 25 sen per kg, cooking gas by RM1.00 for 10kg cylinder, by RM1.20 for 12kg cylinder and by RM1.40 for 14 kg cylinder.
It is outrageous. The increase may be small at this time. This is only the starting. Hard falling is coming. It is going to hit the people. Why the BN government does not do anything about the corruption and the excessive, wasteful spending? Are they saving the money to send another passenger to the space? According to PM, the saving from the subsidy reduction will be used in other developments which will benefit the people. Is subsidy not a benefit to the people?

The government has extra funds!

If there is extra funds in the government coffers, why the government has to spend it? Would this extra money not offset the budget deficit? Why not keep it for the rainy days? Why spend on the Parliamentary constituencies? Would it be spent wisely for the people? Would the spending really benefit the people?

White elephants of Malaysia
“PICC is an ideal place because it is situated in Putrajaya, near the Executive and the Judiciary. It is good because we can save RM800 million and at the same time make full use of that white elephant,” said Nazri in reference to the PICC which was completed in 2003 at the cost of RM600 million." said Nazri.
Nazri admitted the white elephants created over the past years. How many white elephants are there created by the BN Government that are good for nothing except occupying space and creating wealth to certain individual?

Let the government leadership decide

MCA is in the government. Whom does Dr CSL mean the government leadership? With the ability and expertise of the members and leaders in MCA, over the 50 years in the government, the MCA seemed to be letting the government leadership decide. They didn't seem to be able to convince the government to let the people have what they want!

Bankrupt because of subsidy? Or, bankrupt because of corruption?
Corruption is rampant. I think every body knows it. The ordinary people can not do anything about it. They don't have the power. They can only vote against corruption come general election. The corrupt politicians don't want to do anything about it because corruption helps them financially. The "clean" politicians don't want to have anything to do with it because they know their corrupt colleagues have the power to stop them. The leaders ignore the corruption because they want the support of the corrupt politicians. So, corruption strives and gets stronger.
What have our Ministers done as regard to the annual audit report wherein a spanner was purchase at a cost of 1000 times the market price? What has the Prime Minister done as regard to the Port Klang big billion Ringgit loss? What has the Prime Minister done as regard to the Zakaria palace? What has the Prime Minister done as regard to the Dentist's grand palace? How many more cases that the ordinary people do not know because these cases are covered by the OSA?
